Cataracts Care
Cataracts is a clouding that develops in the eye's lens. The lens is comprised primarily of protein and water. Normally, the protein is bonded in a way that allows light to pass through it. A cataract forms when bonding changes and protein molecules clump together. Eventually, these clumps cloud the lens and block light. If left untreated, cataracts may cause blurred vision and possibly blindness.
Druger Eye Care utilizes the Acrysof® ReSTOR® IOL to help some patients restore their vision. The ReSTOR® lens, unlike monofocal IOL, provide many patients with a full range of vision. This full range of vision minimizes dependence on glasses, including reading glasses or bifocals. Learn More...
